Margarett McBride, a graduate student in Developmental Psychology, recently received a National Science Foundation (NSF) Graduate Research Fellowship Award.

The NSF Graduate Research Fellowship recognizes outstanding graduate students in the science, technology, engineering, and mathematics fields. NSF fellows receive three years of support from the agency and international research and professional development opportunities.

Margarett was selected for this prestigious fellowship to pursue her project titled, “African American Fathers’ Socialization about Community Violence: Examining Process and Impact.”
