Heidi Vuletich, a graduate student in Developmental and Social Psychology, has received an honorable mention for the 2018-19 Bernadette Gray-Little Award for Diversity Enhancement in Psychological Research.

The purpose of the Bernadette Gray-Little Awards for Diversity Enhancement in Psychological Research is to encourage and honor students who make a contribution to the advancement of knowledge concerning issues that face diverse populations or that are of concern to diverse populations.

Heidi Vuletich is a sixth-year graduate student in Dr. Beth Kurtz-Costes’ and Dr. Keith Payne’s labs. Heidi’s work investigates academic motivation in African American and Hispanic youth. She also researches ways that socioeconomic status and perceptions of economic standing are related to behavior.
