Adam Hoffman, a graduate student in Developmental Psychology, is the recipient of a 2016 Society for the Psychological Study of Social Issues (SPSSI) grant.
The SPSSI Grants-in-Aid program supports scientific research in social problem areas related to the basic interests and goals of SPSSI. This program especially encourages proposals involving unique and timely research opportunities, underrepresented institutions, graduate students, and junior scholars, volunteer research teams, and actual projects.
Adam received a grant for his project, “Reducing Stereotype Threat and Increasing STEM Motivation in American Indian Adolescents: An Intervention.”
