Our Developmental Psychology Graduate Program is designed to provide students with the knowledge, skills, and judgment needed to become active contributors at the highest-level to research, teach, and provide public and professional service in the community.

The Developmental Psychology doctoral program maintains a flexible curriculum to help students become developmental scientists, with an explicit understanding that each student’s preparation is likely to be unique.

Learn more about our admission requirements, application process, and curriculum. Our graduate program is highly competitive. We seek talented people who can benefit from our programs and who show exceptional promise of making original contributions to the field of Psychology. Only a small number of applicants will be accepted and we encourage our applicants to apply to multiple institutions. Read more about our admission statistics.

Our graduate school finalists will be invited to Visiting Day, an all-day, invitation-only event in February. It is an opportunity for our finalists to visit the department and learn more about the program and the faculty. Learn more about Visiting Day and save the date.
