Dr. Eva Telzer, an Assistant Professor of Developmental Psychology, is the recipient of a 2016 National Science Foundation Grant.

The National Science Foundation is an independent federal agency created by Congress in 1950 “to promote the progress of science; to advance the national health, prosperity, and welfare; to secure the national defense…” The National Science Foundation funds research and education in most fields of science and engineering.

Dr. Telzer received a total award of over $338,000 (over two years) for her project, “Social and Cultural Influence on the Neurobiology of Adolescent Risk Taking.”
